Steph’s 40th Birthday Party…. lovely venue, loads of room to set up, lots of sparkly people…and cupcakes…. oh yes there were cupcakes!!

What a fabby pub and what a great night!
We all pulled out the dress-ups and it was scary…. even more so than usual!
The atmosphere was buzzing, there was dancing, singing, balloons, banging my hand on the bird cage over my head (Jan)… bouncing (of course!)…and a rewarding evening for Morph who won the best fancy dress competition…. he is now my friend (wonder why?!)…
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening with a great crowd….thanks for having us!

Great to be back at Cobdown Sports & Social Club. A very warm evening but the legendary bouncing still featured in our performance…and there was plenty of joining in too.
Happy Birthday to Paul who was celebrating his 21st (cough!)…actually have no idea how old he was!
It was cool to see some new faces from our crowd as well as the club.
Once again a pleasure to play with Mick as our bassist for the evening, thanks Mick.

Despite the rather damp English weather those who braved the rain and came along to The Rose and Crown, Make a Wish Charity event were receptive and enjoyed an entertaining evening with the usual bouncing and singing along always evident at Fox gigs.
Mark, our new bass player, did a grand job, impressing people with his playing style and the fact that he remembered all those songs!! …and no worries… we will have him bouncing soon too!
Fox Force 5 are delighted to welcome a new cub into the skulk!
Mark Sutton is the Fox’s new bass player, replacing founder member Paul Simpson.
Mark’s official debut with the band will be on 25th August at the Rose & Crown, Green St Green. We hope you will all be able to come along, say hi and welcome him in true Fox style!
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mick O’Connor who has done a faultless job in filling the bassist slot for our committments since Paul’s departure. You can catch Mick with the Foxes on 8th September at Cobdown Sports & Social Club. Thanks Mick, we hope to work with you again in the future!
In the evening The Foxes headed off to Maidstone town for another gig in one of Maidstone’s most popular live music venues. We love this venue, its always entertaining and full of interesting and fantastic characters. Every visit is memorable!!

Fox Force 5 were privileged to be invited to perform at Chattfest II – A great charity event at The Chatterton Arms, Bromley in aid of two cancer charities : SOUTH LONDON BREAST CANCER TRUST and FRIENDS OF SAINT LUKES (hospital in Dublin Ireland). The line up included numerous bands and the event was well organised and tremendous fun! Smashing friendly venue too.
Fox Force 5 took to the stage at 14:00 for a 40 minute set. We always enjoy playing outdoors, the weather was great and it was way cool to be performing on a carpeted stage!! We managed to see a few fabby acts but were unable to stay long as we were heading for our second gig of the day.
Thank you so much to Bill for all his running about organising the bands on the day and to Debs and the rest of the people involved in making it all happen.

It was a cracking gig at Aylesford Rugby Club…. nothing like an outdoor gig (well in a marquee!) just love ’em. We had a fantastic time and we think they may have liked us a little !?! 3 encores…!!
What a fun crowd too (and all those hunky rugby players..Jan was happy!!) great dancing (mostly!), great singing (some!)…. however…. it was a camping weekend and we suspect there will be plenty of sore heads in the morning as those rugby players emerge from their tents…hope they have the fried breakfast antidote!

Nothing like a 3-2 England scoreline to get an audience in the right mood for a gig! Thanks to all at the Walnut Tree, Loose for a great night – lots of dancers, loud applause and cheering are a band’s favourite things. Well done to our sub Mick-the-bass for surviving his first gig with us – he did great job!.
