Another fabby night at Earls. Hot… yes we were!
Practiced our single spot dancing and Jan didn’t manage to break her knuckles on the ceiling lights!
Great to see our usual regulars back – Mark & Loz and cool to meet the guys and gal from local band Barbed.

Fabby first at The Viewpoint Club, Gravesend. Despite the threatening weather there were loyal club members out for a good time. Boogie’ing and singing along. Really must do a Meatloaf song, we were asked for one of those yet again! Does that say something about our ‘Amazonian’ singer do you think?
We’ve been asked back, we will post the date once we get it sorted! Keep an eye on the gig list for that one.

First time in this neck of the woods… Mark and Grahams territory…we had great fun, a excellent time was had by all!
Shhh….we even had Graham dancing Gangnam Style!…. it was the end tho.. we don’t actually do that number!! …and Mark…well, what can I say…..
Anyway I digress…. it was great gig, appreciative audience, fabulous to see the local friends there too. Thank you for coming along guys & gals… it was HOT!…

Hehe, you guys are great. Thanks for all your support. That’s the first time Jan had to resort to brandy to get her voice through a gig. The sore throat and cough is a lot better now thank you!

Great evening at Earls. What a way to start our year, our first gig of 2013 and where else than one of Maidstone’s premier music venues and we so needed it!
We had an awesome time with friends we hadn’t seen for months and loads of compliments. Thank you so much all you guys and girls!
We are back at Earls in April, in the mean time check in our gigs and events for more gigs.
Our first time at The Vigo, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, there were some fun people there (and quite a few musicians…no pressure!) We got a fantastic reception and some wonderful compliments, despite Jan’s voice being rather Bonnie Tyler for the evening… did anyone find those high notes by the way! It was lovely to chat to people during breaks and to catch up with collegues from many years ago, thanks for coming along Ken, the Facebook advertising does work!
Val & Julie were great hosts and we loved Brandy too (not the drink…on this occasion!). Brandy was very helpful setting up the gear and making sure the drummers mat was properly placed and padded down! 😉
Hoping to get an invite back next year….you know where to look!
That was our last gig of the year so have a great Christmas, thank you to everyone who has come along and supported us through 2012. We will be relaxing, or not, partying, travelling, getting rid of the colds and looking forward to our first gig in 2013. We hope to see many of you again soon.

To give you an idea….there was Sexy Strawberry, it was his 33rd birthday; his friend – she was fun and bouncy had bought him a cake..with candles!; oh and the other young lady who was dancing in the first number and asking for Meat Loaf (we have one on the back burner….you never know, next time.. maybe!?) ; there was the guy in the green top who sang some of Queen for us; the Italian Stallion with his pony tail, had a dance with him!; the lovely tall girl with long dark hair (drummer wants your number?!); the guy who went and saw the Stones, all those years ago ; the cutest little girl who was mimicking the instruments (awww so sweet); the guy who helped with carrying the gear (thank you!!); The 2 good looking guys who knew all the words to Dakota and Sex on Fire (should have got up earlier guys ;-)!) ; the blonde who we think looked a bit like Pixie Lott (think her name was Ruth, our drummer knows all!) thank you so much for the compliments x ; the lovely lady who was so interested in our lighting gear, didn’t get to find out why that was, hope it was useful for you! ; and of course the lovely Rachel, thank you for inviting us along to your pub, we had a great time!
I know we have missed loads, but it was a cool evening and everyone was so welcoming and friendly.
